About Alba
Alba was born into a traditional Cuban family and grew up with the rhythms, music and dance of the island. She studied ballet and jazz at an early age. She taught aerobics and fitness throughout Italy and Spain in her 20’s and has taught and competed professionally in Latin and Ballroom dance in the US. She has worked as a professional photographer and a bodyworker as well for over 20 years.
Alba brings a depth of experience, compassion and grace to her movement and Nia offerings.
Her joyful energy is contagious and her passion is to inspire people of all ages and walks of life to nurture, trust and understand their innate body wisdom as a path to self-love.
She shares Nia and now WildCore™ as both a life-enriching practice and as movement medicine for healing and enlivening the body, mind, spirit and heart.
