Raja Choudhury is a National Film Award–winning documentary filmmaker, spiritual teacher, author, and speaker whose work explores the meeting place of ancient Indian wisdom and contemporary consciousness. Originally trained as an architect at London’s Architectural Association, Raja went on to become an award-winning digital creative director before a profound Kundalini awakening redirected his life toward the study and teaching of India’s spiritual traditions. His teachings draw from Tantra, Shaktism, Kashmir Shaivism, Kundalini, meditation, and the sacred traditions of the Divine Feminine. Raja has taught thousands of students through The Shift Network and his own A Thousand Suns Academy. He has spoken at TED and TEDx and presents workshops and retreats around the world, inviting participants to awaken their inner wisdom and experience the transformative power of consciousness. As a filmmaker, Raja wrote and directed The Quantum Indians, which received India’s National Film Award for Best Educational Film. His other films explore yoga, Indian philosophy, spirituality, and influential figures including Swami Vivekananda.
